Sometimes kids just need a break from their activity. At Kraftworks we have a number of diversions available.

During a session if a kit is finished early then we teach origami or the fine art of paper aeroplane manufacture. Everyone has probably seen an array of origami animals. Usually we don't teach that traditional form of origami. Instead we teach modern origami where a number of sheets of paper are used to manufacture a box or other three-dimensional design.

When the session is over and it is lunch time we have a number of boardgames available to play . Boardgames are a lot of fun and very social so they are a good way for the kids to have fun and get to know each other at the same time.

We also have an array of DVDs available for watching. There isn't time to watch a movie so we watch episodes from a series instead -- like Robin Hood, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Ben 10, Mythbusters, or Young Indiana Jones.
